We are happy to announce that approval has been granted by the institution to move forward with an exciting opportunity to renovate and enhance the Golf Room.
The Wittenberg Golf program and players has benefited from the recent HWA Project with the use of the STEEMER and the Bates Strength Center. With approval and a lead gift, we now can reimagine the technology and space usage in the Golf Room to provide opportunity to take the team to the next level. We have worked closely with Ace Indoor Golf over the past few months to create a layout that will not only provide more opportunities for our student-athletes indoors, but will also provide them with the latest and greatest technology needed to prepare our student-athletes to compete at the highest level.
We believe that with these upgrades our student-athletes will have the advantage over our competition with year-round access to a state-of-the-art facility including: additional hitting areas (going from one to three bays); new technology; GC QUAD launch monitors; and a space where the student-athletes feel empowered to improve their skills every single day.
Thanks to a generous donor, we have $25,000 to kickstart Phase 1 of our project:
