Our Crowdfunding Groups
Since 1983, the Rochester Area Endowed Scholarship has existed to help make the Wittenberg educational experience available to deserving students from our area. Initially funded by a grant from the Davenport-Hatch Foundation, this endowment awards an annual scholarship of $3,500 (or $14,000 for all four years of schooling!) to an incoming first-year student with strong academic credentials.
We are proud to say this is the largest alumni-area scholarship that exists as part of Wittenberg’s endowment, and to celebrate nearly 40 years of scholarship recipients, Tom ’72 and Nan Hildebrandt will match any donations, up to a total of $10,000 made before June 30, 2023.
